Who are LESD?
Litchfield Elementary School District is home to 16 schools in four cities (Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear, and Litchfield Park) serving over 10,000 students and employing more than 1,400 professionals who are committed to helping children succeed at school and in life.

By empowering our educators and students, we’re creating a brighter future for our entire community.
The Litchfield Elementary School District Educational Foundation (LESDEF) is a private non-profit organization dedicated to improving our community though supporting the students, teachers, and staff within the district.
While we work closely with the Litchfield Elementary School District and its leadership, LESDEF is a separate 501c3 organization with a board of directors made up of local community members, business leaders, and volunteers who help raise funds and direct the local giving initiatives.
Recognizing that excellent local education is critical to protecting our quality of life and investing in our long-term success, LESDEF is working to expand its ability to support LESD students, teachers, and staff through increased classroom investments, student scholarships, and an expanded recognition program.
Our Mission
The Litchfield Elementary School District Educational Foundation exists to meet the educational, social and economic needs of current and former students of the Litchfield Elementary School District.
The Foundation also provides employee recognition for teachers and staff of the Litchfield Elementary School District.
